AI Literacy Essentials: Critical Analysis of Generative AI

Description: This course explores the critical analysis of generative AI to support responsible use of this technology. Learn why misinformation and biases may occur in AI-generated content, and explore the technology’s security and environmental implications. Through collaborative activities and reflective discussions, participants will develop a critical mindset to evaluate AI outputs for quality and ethical considerations.

This course is an elective that counts toward receiving a digital badge for the AI Literacy Education Program.

• Identify ethical and security considerations related to AI
• Describe how misinformation and biases occur in AI content
• Critically evaluate AI content for accuracy and biases
