Initiatives

Affordable Instructional Materials (AIM)
The purpose of the CSU Affordable Instructional Materials (AIM) initiative is to counteract the rising costs of higher education, by supporting faculty to lower costs of course materials for students, and providing solutions to lower costs of faculty scholarship, research and creative activities.

CourseMatch
CourseMatch (CM) is a program offered through the CSU Chancellor’s Office that enables CSU students to enroll in successful, high quality, fully online undergraduate courses at other CSU campuses. Students benefit because they can take courses online from other CSU campuses and make more timely progress towards a degree.

Quality Online Teaching
San Francisco State University has facilitated resources and support for quality online, hybrid, and multi-modality teaching and learning across the last decade. Quality Online Teaching reflects best practices as influenced by Quality Matters standards and rubrics, from the California State University Online Course Services community, and among SFSU faculty experienced and interested in developing and experimenting with effective methods. The Quality Online Teaching initiative engages the campus community to ensure quality teaching and learning experiences in all modalities.
