What is Quality Online Teaching?

San Francisco State University has facilitated resources and support for quality online, hybrid, and multi-modality teaching and learning across the last decade.  Quality Online Teaching reflects best practices as influenced by Quality Matters standards and rubrics, from the California State University Online Course Services community, and among SFSU faculty experienced and interested in developing and experimenting with effective methods. The Quality Online Teaching initiative engages the campus community to ensure quality teaching and learning experiences in all modalities.

CSU Online Course Services (CSU-OCS) Prograqm

CSU Online Course Services (CSU-OCS) supports CSU faculty and staff who are designing and delivering quality online and hybrid courses. In a commitment to academic quality and integrity, CSU-OCS complements campus efforts by providing funding, resources, training, and course certifications. As campuses offer more online and hybrid courses, CSU-OCS  helps to 1) define quality online teaching and learning, 2) determine how to assess it, and 3) make desired improvements.
