Virtual Computer Lab (Labspace)

What is it?

Labspace provides students and faculty anytime, anywhere access to software applications.  Popular titles such as SPSS, SAS, Mathematica, MATLAB, ArcGIS and Microsoft Office are available. For students, this means they can access software used in their courses from home, a coffee shop or anywhere they have a computer and internet connection. For faculty, specialized software is more easily available for conducting research, training or scholarship.

Labspace is available to:

  • Students who are enrolled in a course for which the faculty member has requested access
  • Faculty who have made a request for access for scholarly, research or professional development purposes (faculty can request access to Labspace for their courses or for individual students)
