Transition from iLearn - Frequently Asked Questions

A new version of iLearn was created every academic year. Each of these instances of iLearn stay active for two academic years and then are retired. iLearn will maintain this lifecycle during the transition to Canvas.

Fall 2022 - Summer 2023 October 2025* Self-service access to this academic year will no longer be available beginning October 2024. Faculty can request backups of courses in this academic year via email to at@sfsu.edu

Collaborative sites are currently being migrated. Collaborative sites on iLearn will completely go away in 2025.

Faculty can migrate course content from iLearn by following this support document.

Schedule a virtual appointment via Zoom with AT staff on our bookings page.

Appointments are available Tuesday through Friday, 9am to 4pm, pending staff availability (will be paused for first week of semester; for help with Canvas during the first week of the semester, contact the AT Services phone line below, or use the built-in help within Canvas to get connected directly to a Canvas technician).

As a reminder, you can always call the main help line at 415-405-5555 without an appointment for quick questions.
