Fall 2018 iLearn Updates

Each year Academic Technology updates and improves the iLearn system to enhance features for students and instructors.

New features available for Fall 2018 courses include:

Quickly make course available to students

  • When an instructor is ready to make their course available to students, they may select the Make course available button at the top of the course page

Convenient calendar management for course events and tasks

  • Easily move course tasks and assignments within your Calendar with the new drag-and-drop capability

Improved management features for Participants page in courses

  • Search and filter class participants by roles, groups, and enrollment methods right from the “Participants” page
  • When manually adding users, search of users’ names begins as soon as you start typing

New interface for choosing assignment file types

  • Easily choose which file format types to accept for assignments to make submissions and grading more efficient

Easily set reminders for grading assignments

  • Instructors can enable a notification to be reminded to grade an assignment on a certain date
