QuickGuides is a web-based knowledge repository developed by Academic Technology. QuickGuides is designed as a storage engine
for procedural documents (such as how to documents).
The system is fully searchable to allow users to quickly find the appropriate
documentation for completing the task they are working on.
Academic Technology currently uses the QuickGuides system to store
all of its how to documents for iLearn. Other Academic Technology endeavors, such as ePortfolio, CourseStream and POWER will
be added soon.
From the administration side, QuickGuides allows users to quickly build new documents and to easily maintain them. QuickGuides also has built in workflows and approval processes to allow contribution from different individuals on the same document.
