ePortfolios are electronic portfolios of student and faculty work, which provide new opportunities for assessing achievement and learning outcomes over time, as well
as presenting an evolution of work in response to interactions with instructors, mentors, and classmates. ePortfolios are also being actively used by students to
connect with and further their career development.
In an ePortfolio, you can collect, select, build and publish your best work using electronic technology as the container. For many years, universities have used portfolios to assess the level of skill students have achieved in a particular program and as a valuable tool for career connections. Digital Technologies are now transforming the ways in which students may represent themselves and their work to employers, colleagues, and the community. If you are interested in using ePortfolios, or have additional questions, please visit the ePortfolio Website or contact Ruth Cox at ruthcox [at] sfsu [dot] edu.
