Room Tutorial: BH 149

TURNING ON THE SYSTEM


STEP 1: Turn on the main power-switch.

STEP 2: On the projector control panel, press ON once, and wait 30 seconds.


CONNECTING A LAPTOP: VGA OR HDMI


STEP 1: On the Input Switcher, select the appropriate input when using:

VGA cable: VGA
HDMI cable: HDMI

STEP 2: Connect VGA (15-pin) or HDMI (small trapezoid) cable to laptop (respective laptops may require adapters).
(When using VGA, plug the attached audio-cord into laptop's headphone jack for sound)

*The VGA and HDMI cables are located in front underneath the projection screen:

STEP 3: To get audio, turn on the amplifier. Make sure LEFT OUTPUT and RIGHT OUTPUT is at 12'o clock position.
Adjust volume via the MAIN AUDIO knob. 

EXTRA STEP: If no image shows up, press the following keys on the laptop:

Mac: COMMAND ⌘ + F2
Windows: WINDOWS SYMBOL + P, then select DUPLICATE


RECEIVING CABLECAST


STEP 1: On the Input Switcher, select the TV TUNER input. 

STEP 3: Turn on the amplifier. Make sure LEFT OUTPUT and RIGHT OUTPUT is at 12'o clock position.
Adjust volume via the MAIN AUDIO knob.  

STEP 4: Select the desired cable channel using the TV Remote on top of the console (CH+/-).
Point the remote at the red reciever on top of the projecto control panel (indicated). 

STEP 5: Call x15103 to start the cablecast.


USING THE VCR/DVD PLAYER


STEP 1: On the Input Switcher, select the VCR/DVD input. 

STEP 2: Turn on the amplifier. Make sure LEFT OUTPUT and RIGHT OUTPUT is at 12'o clock position.
Adjust volume via the MAIN AUDIO knob.  

STEP 3: Turn on VCR/DVD combo player. Insert media and press play.


USING THE DOCUMENT CAMERA


STEP 1: On the Input Switcher, select the DOC CAM input. 

STEP 2: Document camera is located on a cart adjacent to the black box. Erect the arms, and press the power button.

STEP 3: Place desired item on the cart surface to project onto the screen.
