San Francisco State University San Francisco State University is an institution steeped in a very strong tradition of teaching excellence. In much the same way, San Francisco as a city is one of the nation's hotbeds for technological development and innovation. Given the unique situation this presents, Academic Technology's mission is to draw these two spheres of influence together and find innovative ways of using technology that will improve and enhance the teaching of our instructors and instructors everywhere.
