Academic Technology Summer Institute 2013

Faculty are invited to attend a two day Summer Institute.

There will be two sessions: 
  • June 4-5 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
  • June 18-19 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) 

You will explore instructional strategies to enrich your courses and receive customized support for your individual teaching needs. 

Your time and energy are valuable – both inside and outside of the classroom. Discover how other SF State faculty have adapted and optimized their specific course goals for online instruction using a variety of technologies supported by Academic Technology.

Institutes are hands-on, with interactive demonstrations and engaging activities. (priority will be provided to first-time attendees only): 
  • Explore Instructional activities for online teaching
  • Develop interactive approaches to student engagement 
  • Learn about campus-supported technologies
  • Receive one-on-one instructional design support
In addition to an informative faculty showcase, Academic Technology consultants share how to use various technologies and services to support your teaching. Institute attendees receive a guarantee of personalized support and a customized Teaching-with-Technology Plan.
